How to Get Here
Lucan Library is a full-time library in the SuperValu Shopping Centre in Lucan. It is situated to the extreme left of the centre, near the Dunnes Stores entrance.
The library can be reached by the C1 and C2 bus which both stop at the Finnstown Abbey stop and the library is five minutes walk from there.
Borrowers can also get the L51 and P29 bus from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
For routes, timetables and fare information, see the Dublin Bus website.
The library was opened to the public in November 2000. It is a bright modern building on the first floor of the SuperValu Shopping Centre and is accessible by lift. It has a large children's area and a seminar room which can be booked by local community groups.
As well as a whole range of facilities, we also have:
Laptops and tablets available for public use
Tilt and Play table
HP Sprout - a fun creative PC
