South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following road to facilitate GMC Utilities on behalf of Uisce Éireann to install a wastewater line and a drinking water line:
Road Name: Between Houses No. 25 – No. 31 Pearse Brother’s Park.
Dates: Monday 14th September to Friday 2nd October 2026.
Time of Closure: 24hrs daily.
Detour route: via Glenmore Park and Pearse Brother’s Park.

South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following road to facilitate the Rathfarnham WSAF Athletic Club to hold the Rathfarnham 5K Road Race and Juvenile races.
Road Name: Dodder View Road, Rathfarnham (both lanes) leading onto Rathfarnham Road (left lane towards city) Templeogue Road (Left Lane only towards Templeogue Road Village), slip lane to Springfield Avenue and Springfield Avenue to Fairways Junction.

Time of Closure: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Extension of Existing Temporary Closure of Hazelhatch Road R405, Co. Dublin.
To facilitate GMC Utilities Ltd. on behalf of Uisce Éireann and South Dublin County Council to install a watermain, a new surface water pipeline and to install communications ducting, South Dublin County Council has made an order to extend the existing temporary closure of the following road. The project has been impacted by unforeseen ground conditions and the need for additional site investigation.
Road Name: Hazelhatch Road (R405) Co. Dublin from junction of R405 with Loughtown Road and the junction of R405 with Athgoe Road.
From: Monday 31st August 2026.
To: Friday 15th January 2027.
Time of Closure: 24hrs daily.
Detour Route: Heading Southbound to Newcastle R405 – Loughtown Road – R120 – Athgoe Road.
Heading Southbound to Newcastle: L2008 – Lyons Road – Athgoe Road
Heading Northbound to Celbridge; Athgoe Road – R120 – Loughtown Road – R405
