South Dublin County Council Receives CPD AccreditationStatus

South Dublin County Council has received CPD Accreditation from Engineers Ireland until November 2021

The achievement highlights the Council's commitment to fostering career development and building the organisation’s technical capacity.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a timely professional updating. It is the process of lifelong learning for professionals. CPD is especially concerned with the development of real value to the professional.

In being awarded this status, the Council underwent a day-long Re-Accreditation Audit in October 2018, assessed under seven CPD criteria, and achieved CPD Accreditation for a further three years until November 2021.

The Council has been accredited by Engineers Ireland as a CPD Accredited Employer since 2008.

Mr Peter Quinn President of Engineers Ireland presented SDCC with the Certificate for our Re-Accreditation as a CPD Accredited Employer on Thursday of last week.
