NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE DERELICT SITES

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE DERELICT SITES COMPULSORILY UNDER DERELICT SITES ACT 1990 (AS AMENDED BY THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000)
Notice is hereby given that South Dublin County Council (hereinafter referred to as the "local authority") in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 intend to acquire compulsorily under the said Act, the derelict sites described hereunder.
Maps of the said derelict sites have been deposited at the offices of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24, and the Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 and may be inspected there between Thursday the 24th of September 2026 and Thursday the 29th of October 2026 during hours of business. A copy of the map may also be viewed online at www.sdcc.ie, where information in relation to current hours of business may also be found.
Any owner, lessee, or occupier (except a tenant for a month or a period less than a month) may, on or before 4.00 p.m. on the 29th day of October 2026 submit to the local authority an objection to the proposed compulsory acquisition of the derelict sites. Any such objection must be in writing, stating the grounds of the objection and addressed to the local authority at:

Description of Derelict Sites Proposed to be Acquired
- Derelict Site at 19 Páirc Mhuire, Saggart, County Dublin, D24 W890, comprising the lands contained within Folio 38788F of the County Dublin Register of Freehold Land, and shown outlined in red on map reference number DS 1864.
- Derelict Site at 20 Páirc Mhuire, Saggart, County Dublin, D24 W504, comprising the lands contained within Folio 69721L of the County Dublin Register of Leaseholders, and shown outlined in red on map reference number DS 1864A.
