ARM
The Alternative Response Model (ARM) is an initiative developed under the auspices of SDCSC which sought to identify the best way to deal with the diverse needs of children and families. The role of agencies engaging with children and families and their past failures in cooperating effectively to protect children and promote their welfare has been well documented. ARM was developed to help address these shortcomings. Since 2009 the ARM management team has been working together and the initiative has recently been mainstreamed across much of the county. Our thanks to all the frontline workers who cooperate in this initiative in endeavouring to secure better outcomes for children and their families. See evaluation document.
