Rest Centre Activation Exercise set for 23 September

Please note that the Tallaght Leisure Centre will be closing at 6.00 pm on Thursday 23 September 2021 for a Rest Centre Activation Exercise as part of the Council’s continuous preparations for a major emergency event.

The rest centre activation exercise brings together several key organisations, such as South Dublin County Council, An Garda Siochana, Dublin Fire Brigade, HSE, Civil Defence and more, to simulate the response to a major emergency within South Dublin County and increase our training and preparedness for any real-life event that may occur.

We would like to thank Tallaght Leisure Centre for providing the space to carry out this training exercise and the public for their understanding of the disruption to the centre's schedule.
