Through Eco Week the council offers schools across South Dublin a range of classroom-based talks, workshops, which will educate and inform them on the environment and climate change, biodiversity.

All events held during the week are FREE and this year we gave over 100 workshops to schools in SDCC area.

Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr. Baby Pereppadan said: “Eco Week is a very important time of year for South Dublin County Council.

The Council faces so many challenges, and we have a vital and important role to play in particular with climate change. Faced with these challenges we all have a role to play and can make a difference no matter how small. Through Eco Week’s free events, which has a variety of themes, you can learn about what your County Council is doing, how you can help and make a better future for everyone".
