Chief Executive's Report - September 2024

South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.

• South Dublin Libraries are for Everyone - South Dublin Libraries have a range of assistive resources and technologies available throughout our branch network.
• Green Fleet Expansion- Three new electric vehicles have been added under our Fleet Decarbonisation strategy
• Excellence in Local Government Awards 2024- We have been shortlisted in nine categories for the Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards
• An Taoiseach Visits South Dublin - An Taoiseach, Simon Harris T.D., recently visited South Dublin to see progress in Clonburris SDZ
• Council Focus - New Corporate Plan: Work has commenced on developing our new Corporate Plan 2025-2029
