South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
This month's report includes news on-:
- €2.6 Million for Community Sports Facilities - All of the Councils 31 applications for funding through the Community Sports Facilities Fund have been granted.
- Exciting Red Line Book Festival Announced - A week of literature, storytelling and community across South Dublin from October 14th - 20th.
- South Dublin Olympians Honoured at County Hall - SDCC held a reception in County Hall Tallaght to honour South Dublin’s Olympians and Local Clubs
- Minister O’Brien Officially Opens Fourth Stand - The Mayor and Minister Darragh O’Brien officially open the fourth stand and facilities at Tallaght Stadium
- Council Focus - European Cyber Security Month October is Cyber Security month and South Dublin are leading the way on online safety.
