Celebrate Valentine’s Day by sharing your favourite book! Bring a beloved book, tell us why it’s special, and why we’ll love it too—whether it’s a childhood classic, a cherished gift, or tied to a sweet memory.

A celebration of crime fiction with author Gill Perdue. Gill will explore the crime fiction genre, discussing her favourite crime writers and share with us her experience of writing in this tradition.

Mobile Libraries 

IRELAND READS AT RATHCOOLE

Date: Saturday 22nd February

Venue: Rathcoole Community centre

South Dublin Mobile Libraries are joining the fun at Rathcoole community centre for a special Ireland reads community day. The Mobile library will be there from 12noon to 3pm. Come visit us, join the library and enjoy the celebration.

Lucan Library 

Secret Garden Book Workshop

Explore the beautiful story of ordinary magic with the wonderful graphic novel version of Frances Hodgson Burnett's timeless classic. This workshop will be a book/ graphic novel discussion followed by a sunflower seed planting activity.

Don't forget to collect your copy at the library beforehand from Feb 8th.
