SDCC Road Safety Plan 2022-2024
The South Dublin County Council Road Safety Plan (2022 – 2024) supports the Government Road Safety Strategy 2021 – 2030 and it will be implemented in three distinct phases. Vision Zero was formally adopted in Ireland’s Programme for Government in 2020 and represents a long-term goal to zero road deaths and serious injuries by 2050.
Strategic aspects of the Road Safety Plan 2022 – 2024 will be overseen by the Road Safety Working Together Group (RSWTG) who meet on a quarterly basis and is made up of various stakeholders including:

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)
An Taisce Green-Schools
Road Safety Authority
Dublin Cycling Campaign
