In 2021 South Dublin County Council is delivering a local grant to help groups raise awareness and promote issues around climate change, biodiversity and sustainable development in South County Dublin.
This grant, which is replacing the Community Environment Action Fund in 2021, promotes sustainable development by assisting small scale, non-profit environmental projects at local level.
If you have a project or initiative that could help to increase awareness of environmental issues locally, or that could help your school or community to become more sustainable you should fill out our simple application form and sub.
Does Your Project Qualify?
Projects should focus on environmental awareness and actions which complement national environmental policies such as those on Waste, Biodiversity, Climate Change, Air, Water, Sustainable Development etc.

For example, community gardens, allotments and compost schemes, rainwater conservation schemes, biodiversity projects, waste reduction initiatives, educational workshops and environmental exhibitions.
