Filíocht 2021 South Dublin Libraries Irish Language Poetry Competition

Prizes: 1st Place €150, 2nd Place €100, 3rd Place €50

Open to anyone over the age of 16 years living on the island of Ireland.

Two poems (maximum length 40 lines) on any theme will be accepted by email only at poetrycompetition@sdublincoco.ie from 1 March 2021.

The closing date for entries is 5 April 2021. No entries will be accepted after this date. This year’s judge is poet and broadcaster, Ciara Ní É.  

The shortlist will be announced on 19 April 2021 and thewinners will be announced on Poetry Day Ireland, 29 April 2021.
