Chief Executive's Report - September 2023

South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.

This month's report includes news on-:

• Excellence in Local Government Awards - South Dublin County Council Shortlisted in Nine Categories in the 2023 Awards.
• Healthy Ireland at your Library - Healthy Ireland at Your Library programme aims to establish libraries as a valuable source within the
  community for health information.
• Tymon Park Intergenerational Centre - Works on the proposed Intergenerational Centre at Tymon Park, Wellington Lane will commence on site in
  September 2023.
• Council Focus - A review of New Recreational Facilities which have been recently delivered in South Dublin County Council Parks and Open Spaces.
