Chief Executive's Report - January 2025

South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.

This month's report includes news on-:

• TradFest Comes to South Dublin - TradFest will celebrate 20 years in 2025 with an expanded programme which comes to South Dublin
• South Dublin Becomes the First Council with a Majority Female Membership -  Co-options bring total female Councillors to twenty-one.
• Council Focus - The €1.75 billion Capital Programme for 2025-2027 was presented at the December Council meeting.
