BMX Pumptrack Dodder Valley Park

Work will commence on site on the new BMX Pumptrack facility in Dodder Valley Park (Mount Carmel) on Monday 16th January.

This facility is to be delivered as part of the Dodder Valley Park Mount Carmel Recreational Facilities Programme, passed through Part 8 planning on 16th October 2017. The overall project has already seen the completion of a 400m grass athletic track and a football pitch (both currently in establishment phase).

The BMX pumptrack will be constructed by Trailbreaker Ltd in collaboration with Velosolutions and will be located directly south-west of the new soccer pitch. It will comprise of a looped track 140m long and a separate 50m long track for beginners. Work on site will take approximately 10 weeks to complete, weather permitting. A path immediately adjacent to the site will be closed to facilitate works, however an alternative route will be provided for park users.
