Join Doireann Ní Ghríofa as she discusses her bestselling prose debut A Ghost in the Throat which spans essay, memoir and hundreds of years of history and finds Doireann exploring the parallels between her life and the life and work Eibhlín Dubh Ní Chonnaill in a stunning, not-to-be-missed book.

Doireann Ní Ghríofa is a bilingual writer whose books explore birth, death, desire, and domesticity. Doireann’s awards include a Lannan Literary Fellowship, a Seamus Heaney Fellowship, the Ostana Prize and the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. She is a member of Aosdána.

Doireann will be in conversation with Irish Book Award-winning YA novelist Deirdre Sullivan.
