Join award-winning children’s writer and creative writing teacher, Sarah Webb for an autumn-themed workshop, inspired by Emily Bronte’s Fall, Leaves, Fall and Robert Frost’s Nothing Gold Can Stay,
Sarah will guide the children through several word games and fun writing exercises, and will help the children create their own piece of writing about autumn.
This is a participative one hour workshop, suitable for 4th and 5th class, delivered direct to the class via Zoom.
Sarah Webb’s books include A Sailor Went to Sea, Sea, Sea: Favourite Rhymes from an Irish Childhood (illustrated by Steve McCarthy), and Blazing a Trail: Irish Women who Changed the World (illustrated by Lauren O’Neill), both winners of Irish Book Awards. Her latest book, Animal Crackers: Fun Animal Facts, illustrated by Alan Nolan has recently been published and The One with the Waggily Tail: Favourite Rhymes from an Irish Childhood (illustrated by Steve McCarthy) will be out soon. She runs creative writing clubs for children and reviews children’s books for The Irish Independent.
