Section 48 (4) Planning & Development Acts 2000 - 2011
The rates of development contributions payable under the current South Dublin County Council Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2020 has been updated with effect from 1st January 2018 in accordance with the Tender Price Index. Consequently, a 6.3% increase in development levies will be applied as follows
Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2020
An indexation rate of 6.3 % will be applied to the scheme and become effective on permissions granted after 1st January 2018. This will increase the levy as follows:-
Description of Development | Amount of Contribution |
---|---|
Residential Development | €90.42 per square metre |
Industrial/Commercial Development | €79.73 per square metre |
**All other rate categories under Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2020 will be subject to this increase**
All planning permissions granted after 1st January 2018 will be increased by 6.3%
