About this plan
South Dublin County Councils Corporate Plan 2025-2029 sets out our strategic goals and our ambitions for the next five years – the lifetime of the current council. The plan has been developed through a consultation process across our organisation and community. It takes into account the existing plan and policies and was prepared in line with the Local Government Act 2001, as amended and all other appropriate legislation and policies, a full list can be found in Appendix???. This plan also takes into consideration of the United Nations Strategic Development Goals and the Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty across the whole document. We have also included a glossary of terms (Appendix???) to explain some of the specialist language that we use, these words will be highlighted in blue.
This Corporate Plan aims to be a living document through links to legislation, other South Dublin policies and plans, reviews and implementation progress. Any changes to the core and intent of the document will be fully documented and transparent.
