Speed limits and Bye-Laws
A Road Authority may make Bye-Laws to introduce speed limits on all roads within its administrative area.
A Road Authority may make a Road Works Speed Limit Order on all roads in its administrative area for a period of less than 1 year for the purpose of carrying out Road Works.
Approval from the National Roads Authority is required for any speed limit changes on National Roads.
