Expressions of Interest: Disability Advisory Board
About the Board
The Disability Advisory Board is advisory in nature. It does not have decision-making authority. It provides recommendations and feedback to SDCC to inform policy, planning, and service delivery. More information is available in the Board’s Terms of Reference.
Membership Requirements
To be eligible for membership, applicants must:
- Live, work (paid or voluntary), or study in the South Dublin County area.
- Have expertise or interest (lived or professional) in disability-related issues and be committed to proactively addressing accessibility barriers in South Dublin County.
- Agree to serve an initial three-year term, with the option of renewal.

Anyone wishing to be considered for board membership is invited to complete an Expression of Interest application.
Applications should be returned to SDCC Access Officer, Grainne Meehan, by 5pm on the 30th March 2026 .
