Chief Executive's Report - October 2024
South Dublin County Council’s Chief Executive’s Report is presented to elected members at Council every month and details important achievements across our various departments whilst highlighting key statistics and images from events that took place that month. The report also highlights major news pieces and puts a focus on an area of the Council that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
SDCC launches Halloween Safety and Environmental Awareness Campaign
This year, to raise awareness and to encourage our citizens to stay safe, the Council has published a colourful information leaflet providing facts and tips on how to stay safe at Halloween. The leaflet also contains details of the various family events hosted by South Dublin County Council’s Libraries. Members of the public can find information on incentives offered by the Council to avoid damage to community open spaces as a result of illegal bonfires.
Hellfire Project Conservation Works at Massy’s Wood Commence
Hellfire, the transformative project in the Dublin Mountains which will offer a range of exciting amenities and activities for visitors of all ages reaches a key milestone as conservation works officially commence on Tuesday 17th September.
