Local Elections were held on the 7th June 2024 to elect 40 Members representing 7 Local Electoral Areas on South Dublin County Council. The new Council will hold its first Annual Meeting on the 21st June 2024. The Local Elections were held in accordance with the Local Election Regulations 1995.

How do I know if I am eligible to vote?
Every person aged 18 years or over on polling day is entitled to be registered as a local government elector for the local electoral area where they are ordinarily resident.
