Changing Places

Use Our Changing Places Facility

South Dublin County Council warmly welcomes disabled people and assistants to drop in to use the fully accessible Changing Places toilet facility in our offices at County Hall, Tallaght, North Clondalkin Library and Tallaght Stadium. We just ask that you sign in at reception, so we know that you are in the building.

This purpose-built toilet facility gives disabled people and assistants more space and the right equipment to take care of personal hygiene, in safety and comfort.

The Changing Places toilet goes beyond a conventional wheelchair-accessible toilet in that it includes additional assistive technology of a hoist, height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, and peninsular toilet (toilet has enough space on both sides for assistants).

Important Information

The bar that is attached to the hoist is for loop slings. However, a separate spreader bar is available from the security desk so that anyone using a clipped sling can also use our facility.

• Adequate space for a disabled person and up to two assistants
• Centrally located toilet with space both sides for assistants
• Privacy screen
