South Dublin Local Enterprise Office Host Brexit Event in Tallaght

The South Dublin Local Enterprise Office teamed up with South Dublin Chamber to host a ‘Get Brexit Ready’ event in Tallaght Stadium on 2 October.

The objective of the event was to present local businesses with the best information to hand on what to expect from a Hard Brexit and also to advise them of actions that they can take to prepare their businesses in a practical way and cost -effective way.

The event was attended by over 60 businesses/entrepreneurs from the South Dublin area and featured an experience panel of Brexit experts. The experts outlined the impact of Brexit to local businesses and gave details of financial grant supports available. Further presentations highlighted the training and mentoring that businesses need to avail of in preparation for a No-Deal Brexit.

The presentations were followed by discussions by local business on Brexit preparations and the potential to diversify their products and services in response. The final session of the day included workshops on Customs, Tariffs and Brexit Mentoring.
