Local Zoning Objective (LZO) 6 of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2010-2016 seeks to facilitate development of housing to the rear of houses at Knockmeenagh Road, Clondalkin, with not more than one additional unit per existing cottage. Further to LZO 6, a local framework plan that addresses lands to the rear of the houses on the north side of Knockmeenagh Road has been submitted to the Planning Authority.
