Bulbs not Bonfires
Bulbs not Bonfires is now open and accepting application forms.
Bulbs not Bonfires is a reward provided through South Dublin County Council’s Social Credit Scheme. Every year we encourage residents of the county to look after their environment at Halloween by providing communities with bulbs to plant for lovely spring flowers instead of a scarred open space as the result of a bonfire. Community groups, environmental groups, resident associations, and schools can apply.
We are also delighted to announce we will be giving out 400 bags of mixed pollinator bulbs, including Crocus, Muscari, Alliums, Snowdrops & Daffodils.
To receive bulbs groups are asked to fill out our simple application form and attach a photo to let us know where the bulbs are planted.
Applications will be accepted from 1st October.
As this initiative is oversubscribed all applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Please send your application to envawareness@sdublincoco.ie.
