Tallaght Village Enhancement Scheme
SDCC is committed to making Tallaght Village a lively, welcoming, and flourishing destination for the people of Tallaght. As the County Town of South Dublin County, Tallaght requires a village centre that reflects its importance, heritage, and potential. This scheme aims to create a safer, more attractive, and people friendly environment by improving traffic flow, improving walking and cycling connections, and creating a high-quality public space. By prioritising public realm, the project seeks to deliver a village centre that is easily accessible, refreshing, and capable of supporting local businesses, and community activity. SDCC aims to make Tallaght Village a true centrepiece for the community.
Upcoming Public Workshops
Public consultation is essential to gather feedback on the future development of Tallaght Village and will play a pivotal role in informing the development of the village.
SDCC invites all members of the community to share their views at our upcoming public consultations being held in the Priory Market (D24 YYK4)
