Creator of Wordfury Zines, author Sarah Maria Griffin will run a workshop on the world of Zines.
In this hour, we'll look at the zine from all angles. Where did zines come from? What are they? How do we make them ourselves? We'll look at how to create one six page zine from an A4 page, and how to structure a story, or a personal essay, or a series of poems, or a diary entry over this medium.
There will be some practical instruction, and several creative writing prompts, too, to ensure participants leave with a tiny zine of their very own to photocopy and post out to their loved ones, friends, or whoever wants to read one.
