About this Event
The course will take place on Mondays from 7-8pm on the following dates
May 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.
One ticket is sufficient for all four weeks.
The materials for projects are
Tea cosy:
One pair of 4mm needles
3 balls of 100grm double knives wool, one of each colour
Summer wreath:
4mm knitting needles
1 ball of 100 grm wool for covering wreath frame in any thickness suitable to cover wreath.
One polystyrene ring or heavy cardboard or old tights and wadding
Assortment of different colour wool
Shoes:
4mm needles and a small ball of each colour (only need 2 colours)
Needle to stitch up projects
This event is part of Bealtaine. Bealtaine is Ireland’s national festival which celebrates the arts and creativity as we age. It provides opportunities for older people to be more creative and to demonstrate and celebrate how our creative potential can improve with age and offer a better quality of life of people aged 50 +
