Monday marked the beginning of an exciting week of over 60 events taking place across the four Dublin Local Authorities. This year’s diverse programme is designed to engage people of all ages and interests, whether you’re a committed climate advocate, just starting to explore the topic or simply looking for fun activities for the family. This week’s schedule includes family fun days, workshops, walks, talks, advice clinics, film screenings and much more. The full programme of events can be viewed and booked via the Dublin Climate Action Week website.

Speaking at the launch, the Mayors of Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council, the Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin City Council jointly stated:

We are delighted to launch Dublin Climate Action Week today. This collaborative week reflects our shared commitment to a more resilient and sustainable future for all. It is inspiring to see so many communities, groups, individuals and businesses getting involved in this important conversation. We would encourage everyone to check out the events taking place this week”.

Now in its fourth iteration, Dublin Climate Action Week is organised and delivered through a partnership of the four Dublin Local Authorities, the Dublin Metropolitan Climate Action Regional Office (CARO) and Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency.
