Learn to Crochet: 4 week course for beginners and improvers

Whether you are a beginner or would like to improve your crocheting skills this course is for you!

About this Event

The class will cover how to hold a crochet hook and yarn to get started whether right or left handed. Basic stitches will be used. You will also learn to read printed instructions.

One ticket is sufficient for the four weeks of the course.

The course runs for four weeks. February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd from 6 - 7PM.

Projects: working in squares (baby blanket with edging and quillow (joining squares together to make a blanket that folds into a cushion))

Materials required to start:

Double knitting wool (for baby blanket 3 to 4 100grm balls)

Quillow 8 100grm balls of double knitting wool (assorted colours if preferred)

One 4mm crochet hook

A valid email address is required to register for this event. South Dublin Libraries will forward the email address you use to register to the facilitator who will then send an access code to your email address to enable you to attend the workshop.
