Following the success of the Local Live Performance Scheme, South Dublin County Council launched South Dublin Live, a live performance events programme for the county. South Dublin Live funds a wide variety of performance events including live music, comedy, theatre, and aerial dance. Events take place in indoor and outdoor venues, libraries, parks, and community centres throughout the county. The 2024 South Dublin Live programme had 58 events featuring 359 performers and employing 218 production staff, with a total audience of 24,652. The 2025 South Dublin Live programme will be launched in May.
