R&D at Aryzta (Cuisine De France)
With a growing international reputation for the quality of its bakery products, Cuisine de France needed a facility which could be both a corporate headquarters and a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, as well as a distribution center serving markets at home and abroad.
Its multi-million Euro facility at Grange Castle Business Park in South Dublin, serves these purposes and also offers a center of excellence for R&D, marketing and training. Aryzta AG (Cuisine de France) was formed when Dublin based IAWS Group PLC merged with Zurich based Hiestand Holding AG in August 2008. Aryzta AG (Cuisine de France) commenced construction of this facility in November 2006 and went into production in mid-2008.
The initial phase of the complex is set in a 20 acre site. The purpose built food facility comprises a Corporate Headquarters, a center of excellence accommodating a Research and Development Centre and a state of the art food manufacturing and distribution facility and a training and call center. The development comprises some 45,500sq. meters of buildings and involved an investment of circa €195m. There is now over 500 staff employed at Aryzta, most of which are sourced from our highly educated and highly skilled local populace.
