New Councillors Ratified at Meeting

As a result of the election of Councillor Mary Seary Kearney to Seanad Éireann on Saturday 27 June 2020, a casual vacancy occurred on South Dublin County Council (Rathfarnham- Templeogue Electoral Area). Ms Lynn McCrave was duly nominated by Fine Gael, being the registered political party who nominated Councillor Seery Kearney for election, to fill this vacancy. Her nomination was ratified by elected members at the September 2020 Council meeting.

As a result of the resignation of Councillor William Priestley from South Dublin County Council on Friday 31 July 2020, a casual vacancy occurred on South Dublin County Council (Rathfarnham-Templeogue Electoral Area). Dr Laura Donaghy was duly nominated by the Green Party, being the registered political party who nominated Councillor Priestley for election, to fill this vacancy, Her nomination was also ratified by elected members at the September 2020 Council meeting.
