Gender Pay Gap Report

South Dublin County Council has today Friday 28th November, 2025 published its Gender Pay Gap Report, highlighting the percentage difference between what men and women are paid on average in the organisation, irrespective of role or grade.

 

Under the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, all employers with more than 50 employees in Ireland are required to publish their gender pay gap data before the end of 2025 and within five months of their reference date. South Dublin County Council and all local authorities in the country have 30 June 2025 as the reference date.

 

The 2025 report shows a mean Gender Pay Gap of -10%. This figure reflects that the average earning of all females in South Dublin County Council is 10% higher than the average earning of all males in the organisation.
