Woodwork Course (6 weeks, DIY Academy) – using reclaimed wood for community project
Tallaght Library is excited to offer this six week workshop course in association with The DIY Academy. This course will run every Tuesday evening from 18:00 o 19:30 in Tallaght Library.
Signing up via Eventbrite is a six week commitment. Please, if unable to attend cancel your ticket via Eventbrite to make space for another participant.
1st three weeks : learn how to safely use power tools. Learn how to do basic home DIY, e.g. hang a shelf, hang a picture, do minor repairs.
2nd three weeks : a collaborative creative project to utilise learned skills. Project will use reclaimed wood. A planter or a bench will be made to be donated to the local area.
