Official Opening of Tymon Pétanque Court

The rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of keen Pétanque enthusiasts from St Jude’s Shed, Templeogue Women's Shed, Templeogue Community Men’s Shed and SDCC Councillors. On Wednesday, April 17th, as the Pétanque courts in Tymon Park were officially opened by the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Councillor Alan Edge. Roberto Caira from the Irish Pétanque Association and Owen Kelleher from Griffeen Valley Pétanque Club provided an excellent demonstration to the eager visitors of the new playing facility in Tymon Park during the official opening.
