OPR planning review of SDCC Planning Department published

The Office of the Planning Regulator recently undertook a review of South Dublin County Council’s Planning Department . Overall,  the review found that the Council is delivering its planning functions effectively with evidence of best practice in many respects. The planning department’s overall approach to the organisation of available resources, the documentation of procedures, and its willingness to explore innovative ways to deliver functions, provides an example for the wider local authority planning sector.
