Physical Activity Leaders

Physical Activity Leaders

PALS (Physical Activity Leader Support) is a community-driven initiative designed to empower and support individuals in leading physical activity sessions within their local communities. The program focuses on creating inclusive, accessible, and sustainable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to stay active.

PALS includes a range of specialized programs:

  • PALS– Encouraging and equipping individuals to become leaders in community-based physical activity, fostering a culture of movement and well-being.
  • CARE PALS – Supporting those who work with older adults or individuals in care settings by providing tailored training to promote safe and engaging physical activity.
  • PPALS– Designed to support physical activity leaders working with young people, helping to create fun, inclusive, and structured activity sessions.

Through PALS, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more active community by empowering leaders and volunteers to bring physical activity to as many people as possible. Whether in community centres, care settings, or schools, PALS ensures that everyone has the opportunity to move, play, and stay active.
