Try One Challenge

Try One Challenge

The Try One Challenge is a fun, inclusive programme that introduces people in South Dublin County to a variety of physical activities. The goal is to inspire people of all ages and abilities to try new things and enjoy the benefits of being active, whether it's improving health, boosting energy, or just having fun. It’s not about competition—it's about making physical activity enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

The programme is now an ongoing initiative, giving local centres, groups, and communities the flexibility to schedule sessions that suit them. With activities like fitness classes, team sports, yoga, dance, cycling, and outdoor adventures, there’s something for everyone to try. The aim is to help people discover activities they enjoy while breaking down barriers to participation. Whether you're new to exercise or just want to try something different, the Try One Challenge is here to help you get active.

By offering a variety of activities in a relaxed and supportive setting, the Try One Challenge makes it easy for people to explore different options and find what works for them. It helps build confidence and removes the common barriers that prevent people from taking part in physical activity, such as fear of failure or lack of experience. This programme encourages long-term participation in a healthier lifestyle by showing that physical activity can be fun, social, and rewarding.
