List of Facilities:

This park consists of a playground with a large sand play area, swings, slide, climbing frame, climbing trees, monkey bars, gymnastic bars, spinning disk, wobble belt and a double zipline. A teen space including a multi-use game area. Calisthenics, parkour, speaker posts to play music, informal seating areas and a dog park.

It is a regional park located near the Naas Road, stretching towards Clondalkin, spanning 120 hectares. The park consists of a large playground, dog park, attenuation lakes, international cycle track, exercise equipment, rose garden, allotments, sports and playing pitches, Camac Caravan Park, international arboretum, water station, and car parking.

Dodder Valley Linear Park

The Dodder River provides the focus for this marvellous park which extends from Old Bawn Bridge in Tallaght to Rathfarnham - a distance of 6km. Linking the Dublin Mountains with city suburbia, the park consists of over 100 hectares of fragmented parkland and remnant countryside.

Ely Arch

List of Facilities:

Ely Arch was originally built in 1771 as an entrance to Rathfarnham Castle. In more recent times, Ely Arch has become the symbolic entrance to the county of South Dublin. Recent improvement works have provided more passive recreational opportunities, including areas to walk, sit, and enjoy the surrounding space, with several benches and grassy areas featuring both new and mature trees.

Griffeen Valley Park

List of Facilities:

The Park, comprising over 200 acres, is formed from a series of public open spaces, each with its own identifiable character. The first and oldest section is the popular little town park in the middle of Lucan Village. The second section, known as Vesey Park, can be entered at Adamstown / Newcastle Road; it winds its way around the Vesey housing estate and ends at the Lucan Bypass. The third section is an open space on the southern side of the bypass ending at Lynche's Lane. The enclosed section of Griffeen Valley Park starts on the other side of Lynche's Lane and extends along the rear of the Arthur Griffith housing estate to Griffeen Avenue. Other amenities include a large playground, a skatepark, and a teen space and a dog park.

Jobstown Park

List of Facilities:

This park, previously a greenfield site, has been transformed with focal park entrances, a teen space, an outdoor workout area, a pump track, a natural playground, a fenced dog area, a footpath exercise loop, and a Cycle South Dublin link connecting to the wider cycle infrastructure. The transformation also includes landscaping and biodiversity enhancements, such as the planting of 300 mature trees and a mix of bulbs.

Killinarden Park

List of Facilities:

Killinarden Park has been transformed with recent upgrades. These improvements included new amenities designed to enhance the experience the park provides. Such amenities include a new cycle track, lit walking paths, new play spaces, exercise areas, a skate ramp, a multi-use games area, and an upgrade of existing grass pitches. The cycling route and walking paths are now lit, promoting active travel. These cycle tracks connect to major commuting roads, such as Blessington Road and Killinarden Way.

Sean Walsh Park

List of Facilities:

Sean Walsh Park is located in the heart of Tallaght on the N81, often considered ‘The Green Lung’ of Tallaght. It consists of ornamental formal gardens with attractive water features such as ponds and waterfalls, a Sensory Garden, and a playground divided into two sections: one for younger children and another for older ones. The extensive tree planting allows shaded areas for relaxation. There are over 11km of pathways within the park, to explore, walk and jog.
