Workshops on the new Sustainable Drainage Explanatory Design and Evaluation Guide produced by South Dublin County Council have concluded for staff to ensure the incorporation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) into developments in the County and outline taking in charge protocols.
A workshop for external developers, engineers, and landscape designers involved in SuDS design are also taking place to promote uptake of SuDS and to inform their design.
Guidance documents were prepared for developers and also householders to explain and increase understanding of how SuDS work and why they are beneficial.
