Energy efficiency works in County Council owned buildings are progressing, including a comprehensive programme of office lighting upgrades to LED. For more information see action E15 in Energy & Buildings.

Other projects include the Tallaght District Heating Scheme (action E12), solar panels installed on the roof of County Hall and all new council buildings designed to be delivered as close to Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) standards as possible.
