Jobstown Community Centre

Jobstown Community Centre

Jobstown Community Centre was built in 1988 as part of the buy a brick initiative in the 1980’s. It is one of the oldest centres in the Tallaght Area and was officially opened in 1990 by former President and United Nations elder, Mary Robinson. We are an inclusive centre, which has been serving the local Jobstown community and surrounding areas for over thirty years. Our present board of management is a volunteer board with representation from the local community, SDCC and youth organisations. The centre is run by the centre manager, one part-time administrative officer and staff members employed through the Community Employment & TUS programmes.
