In accordance with the provisions of Section 49 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) a Supplementary Development Contribution Scheme for the Metro West Project was adopted on 9th March 2009.
However following the announcement of the suspension of the Metro West Project by the Minister for Transportation, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar TD, the elected members of South Dublin County Council resolved on 10th October 2011 to suspend the Metro West Supplementary Development Contributions Scheme. Notifications as applicable have issued to affected parties.
