Electric vehicles are a key technology that will help South Dublin County Council reduce our emissions. We are committed to replacing our municipal fleet with electric vehicle alternatives. The major benefit of electric cars is the contribution that they can make towards reducing emissions and improving air quality in our county.

South Dublin County Council has to date included 5 Electric Vans in its municipal fleet. A programme of fleet replacement is currently under review with EV alternatives being considered for all replacements, with a desktop study of fleet inventory underway.
