Although there is enough annual rainfall in Ireland, we are limited in how much water we can take from the environment. By using only what we need, we can all play our part in safeguarding our water for our future.

South Dublin County Council has introduced measures to reduce water consumption in Civic buildings including replacement of faucets with automatic shut off mechanisms. Other measures under consideration include installing aerator taps and low flow toilets.
