In Dublin, the region is represented by the four local authorities comprising South Dublin County Council, Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Fingal County Council. While each local authority area is distinct, it is often possible to replicate shared solutions that work across administrative borders. For nature-based solutions, this is especially true as cross border strategies can bring multiple benefits.
South Dublin County Council has initiated contact with neighbouring local authorities to establish a Regional Working Group to identify new actions and priorities. The working group will include members from the 4 Dublin local authorities. Terms of reference for the group are to be agreed.
